Our story
A Story About Coming Home
I may not know much about branding, but I know chickens must be raised well for people to eat with peace of mind.
In 2009, Uncle Chen left his sales job in the city and returned with his wife to their hometown in the Hunan mountains. He had one goal: to let his children taste the chicken he remembered from childhood.
He set aside three mu of hillside and brought home his first chicks. No feed additives. No growth hormones. The chickens roam freely, drink mountain spring water, and forage for insects and grains for at least 180 days before they leave the farm.
Today, 山野土鸡坊 is the trusted chicken supplier for many local families. Uncle Chen says his favorite thing is hearing a customer say, “This chicken tastes like my childhood.”
